Submitting your Medical Certificate to Missouri License Office Under the federal regulations, all CDL holders are required to self certify to a single type of commercial operation. Based on that self-certification, you may need to provide a current medical examiner’s certificate and show any variance (FMCSA waiver) you may have in order to obtain or keep your CDL.ĬDL holders required to have a “certified” medical status who fail to produce and keep up-to-date their medical examiner’s certificate with the Department will become “not-certified” and they may lose their CDL.ĬDL retesting may not be required unless you voluntarily downgrade your license or let your CDL license remain expired for more than six months. You must meet the Federal DOT medical certificate requirements. All Missouri CDL holders are required to certify the type of commercial operation they’re engaged in.
